Feeling like it'll be after Thanksgiving no matter their record.
Sinden (that SOB) would've made a big trade and water-boarded the
coach by the second loss.
Times are a changin'

He picks his spots, which is fine to a degree. It’s hilarious how many people in here use the “fake tough” when describing players on certain teams, but I feel Frederic falls in that same category. He went after a non fighter after a hit, again, don’t hate it, but if that’s Reaves you best bet he’s not doing that.

He fought another non fighter after Bergeron was hit 2 years ago, he clocked him, again, glad he did.

He jumps in when he knows he will overwhelm someone. I get that, I don’t even hate it. What I do hate is when the games get their most intense, Frederic goes missing. He was awfully quiet against the Leafs when they made a few questionable hits.

He’s doing absolutely nothing this year. He’s been awful. If he was producing, I wouldn’t dog him as much as I do.
He fought the guys who cheap shot or layed out Bergeron, Poitras and Marchand. I guess he's spot picking the guys who have it coming.

He's absolutely goes with guys he totally can't overwhelm. Don't know where that's coming from.

Ultimately, I'm saying I don't see much intensity from him. That's all.

I think he should be more involved against teams like Toronto, Florida etc. I notice him a lot more against the Seattles of the world.

I think he's a valuable piece if he can find his game, but right now it's atrocious.

Agreed, he's fought some tough guys. Tom Wilson twice, Englund twice, Marcus Foligno, Jake Middleton, Liam O'Brien twice, Nikita Zadorov, Josh Anderson, Tanner Jeannot, Givani Smith. That's a solid fight card for any light heavy.

If he made an angry face more often think folks would cut him some slack.

I'm more concerned about the rest of his game this season- him and others.

Trading Freddy and not Coyle or Carlo would be completely pathetic.
No one will want Coyle at his cap hit with the way he is currently playing and with one more year on his contract. He could maybe be moved in the off-season.

The Bruins aren't moving Carlo since Peeke is out with an injury and is week to week. McAvoy, Wotherspoon, and Sweezey/Mitchell isn't a recipe for success at RD. Maybe when Peeke comes back and with someone else stepping up sure, but there would be way too many question marks right now if the Bruins moved Carlo. Earliest these two are moved if at all is at the trade deadline.

The only part of Fredric’s game I have liked this season is his toughness. That being said I love his speed and he can score goals when he gets shots off. I’d like to resign him. If someone over pays for him I wouldn’t be mad though.

Why? He’s -10 with 3 points in 15 games.
It doesn't help that they keep moving him around and often playing him with mediocre linemates at best.
Having said that, I do wonder if he thinks his days in Boston are numbered so his effort level has dropped off as a result. Problem with trading him now is we'd be selling low and who are we going to replace him with? Geekie? Jones? Might as well just keep him for that toughness and Poitras protection.

Yup rough start but still like him. Has shown he is capable and adds size to the top 9, but i agree he should impose that more often. Maybe i just like the idea of him, but he's probably the kinda guy we'd want if we didn't have him bad start aside

Is it the fact that they’re moving him around or he’s not playing good enough to warrant playing on a consistent line? He’s been god awful all season.

They’re moving him around to try to get him going. He looks like he’s out on a a Sunday skate.

I can agree with letting it play out, but if nothing improves in the next month? See ya.

I would like to see

Frederic- Coyle - Kopeke

All good size good skating

Coyle showing strong game back where he belongs

Get him back where he’s an elite third liner

With Kastelic & Beecher on 4th line you got a big strong bottom 6

Top 2 lines built around

Zacha - Pastrnak
Marchand- E Lindholm

We have 15 games and it’s getting clearer this is it

Marchand still quick as a cat

His talent is still high end his decision making needed to be better less high risk stop forcing plays

At this point this young man might need to accept 2 years at 3M and be real happy if it comes.

DK I never saw anything special with Fred. I Keep big so so skater Brazeau over Fred. Attempt landing another former first round pick who is struggling that comes with speed and ability to score.

He’ll be 27 in a few months and plays a physical game. If the Bruins re-sign him, I hope it is for no longer than 4 years.

Would love if he would accept your proposal, but he and his agent know he can do a lot better in free agency. By all accounts, he loves Boston. Maybe he accepts 4 years at $2.75 or something like that. Just please don’t go longer than 4.
