Another kid who's lost sight of what made him to begin with. Score a few goals. Get some PP time. All of a sudden he's a scorer. Would argue Geekie has taken a similar turn after a career year. Beecher too. Maybe even Koepke with a similar hot start. Why you don't give long term money to role players.

Wouldn't shock me if he turns it around in another organization. All of the guys in this league were scorers at one one point. What they've always strived for I'm sure. Going to be humbled soon. I've said my piece before about going all-in with these pompous entitled college boys. That's the Sweeney mold.

He just hasn’t been much of a point producer at any level.

I don’t think he becomes anything significantly better than what he is right now.

Good enough 3rd liner, good defensively, scores some goals from the perimeter.

Not skilled enough for a top six role, not tough enough for a bottom six role. He just takes up space.

He strikes me as a guy who because he's now a regular, and has a spot on the roster, he thinks all is well.
