no one said lose intensity, but he needs to reign it in a bit. In the videos he looks way better than he did before. It was probably a lot of nerves in his first couple NHL games. But he really did look a bit gittery and couldn’t really get into the play because of it. He had some great moments in the bubble. He is an NHL player for sure no one is denying that.
Think the issue is simply that they don't want him to run around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Why would it be be.... he didn’t do it in junior, didn’t do that with the Marlies and didn’t do it even in his first games with the Leafs which were playoff games.
I’m going to start calling haley Dr doolittle

Kallgren's improvements the past couple seasons should bear fruit in net for Maple Leafs | Toronto Sun

How the Leafs decide to use Kallgren should become clearer once training camp starts next week.
With Jack Campbell and Petr Mrazek solidified as the team’s goaltending duo, Michael Hutchinson slots in at third on the depth chart. Joseph Woll is bound to get the bulk of the starts with the Toronto Marlies, while Ian Scott, whose development has been stalled by a hip injury, likely is headed for bigger minutes with the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL.

For now, Kallgren is content with getting action at the development camp, which ends on Monday with a scrimmage before the Leafs send a team to take part in the Detroit Red Wings’ prospect tournament in Traverse City, Mich.

“I’m just trying to come over here and show my absolute best game and try to play as many games at the highest-possible level I can,” Kallgren said. “We’ll see how far it takes me.”

I see a lot of lineups penciled in already without much mention of Robertson.

I agree that you don't keep him up in the NHL to sit on the bench but depending on how his camp goes during the NHL pre season he may well make the team.

If not first line Marlie with tons of minutes.

Playing against NHL guys compared to these scrimmages is huge but clearly his skill level is there. Hopefully he gets a really good shot this season at staying up with the Leafs.

I really didn't think there was any way that Robertson was starting the season with the Leafs, but he may force their hand, or Miikheyev may get his wish really soon.

Jonas Siegel says Bunting is on Tavares wing during the informal practice this morning. The geriatric posters are going to freak!

To me that signals (if Bunting stays there) that Kerfoot is likely a C, which makes me happy, didn't want Kampf at 3C

Why would that bother anyone……he has to fit in somewhere

There were a lot of people who seemed upset that Bunting maybe a top 6 player because he is unproven while also criticising Dubas for trading 1st line LW Marchment and his outstanding 37 game career.

Likely we see 2 third lines - one offensive leaning one defensive leaning.

I was thinking that way as well too, but I hope it isn't a 50/50 split (obviously changes game to game), the top 2 lines can handle defensive deployment too.

Who are 'the geriatric posters' and why would they 'freak'?
