Good timing, I dont know how many more threads about Dubas or Marner I could handle.
They are toxic I avoid them at all costs

Exactly, you take every Brayden Irwin, Casey Bailey, and Max Veronneau you can for the that once in a decade Tyler Bozak. We've got the money and development team, it's worth it
A whole lotta silliness has been read into a 19yr old scoring at a very good 20gl/60pt pace in his first 21 AHL games, between two serious injuries.
Jeez talk about jump on the b.s train. I seen none of that from him and have no idea what she is talking about. Intensity and poise are two completely different animals. You own both you are a player. I seen Robertson blow it off in questions and reiterate he has no quit or intention of giving up his intensity. He said he doesn’t know anything but basically.nick Robertson’s intensity limits him from being an effective player. Even in his NHL stints, he wasn’t creating plays. He was getting the puck and firing it from 20 feet out. That’s not effective, he’s too gittery and looked way out of depth. She is 100% right. He needs to settle down and play a calm game. The best players in the world look completely composed when they play.

You are a Leaf now, lose your intensity is the advice. Wow it doesn’t surprise me
Remember the Leafs " Kid Kine" of John Anderson -- Laurie Boschman -- Rocky Saganiuk line.?

Now we are watching not their kids but their grand kids already.
Man does time fly when you're having fun.

The Nhl is overwhelming. We all know that. It happens to every player and they all adapt at different rates. Playing structured, good defensively first and foremost and hard are good principles. Intensity is good. Chemistry will be the nice thing to watch growing if he takes a top 6 spit out of camp. That intensity of forcheck and cycle will be of great utility for him.no one said lose intensity, but he needs to reign it in a bit. In the videos he looks way better than he did before. It was probably a lot of nerves in his first couple NHL games. But he really did look a bit gittery and couldn’t really get into the play because of it. He had some great moments in the bubble. He is an NHL player for sure no one is denying that.
Yep. Might be a good scoring winger also that fills in at center when you need. He’s good. He’s got some jam to his game.*abramov is going to be a sick 3C 2 years from now*
I'm really high on him, I see our team looking kind of like this within the next 18-24 months...Yep. Might be a good scoring winger also that fills in at center when you need. He’s good. He’s got some jam to his game.
You split up Matthews and Marner. Hopefully Keefe is as wise as you are and does it this year. A healthy Tavares with Marner and Ritchie hopefully gets more than a good look. If Robertson puts on a show in main camp like he is showing in rookie camp he is taking a top 6 spot. He looks revved.I'm really high on him, I see our team looking kind of like this within the next 18-24 months...

As you can probably tell by my profile pic, I'm a big Dubas guy but I can also definitely accept there's been some mistakes. I didn't like the vets he brought in for this past season but this seasons iteration of the Leafs looks like a good mix of the prior two years. I quite like the Ritchie and Kase additions, not to mention Bunting. The mentality is also why I want Joey Anderson to get a shot, he's a real work horse. You split up Matthews and Marner. Robertson/Matthews/Nylander would be some scoring threat.
I like Ritchie on this roster so much knowing he will clean up on whoever thinks they are going to take liberties with any of our stars and it will potentially happen instantly with the big mans attitude.
This roster might all want to cone in to every game with more attitude to a man and put all the years of getting intimidated behind them. About time there is a nasty Pr!ck like Ritchie right there to tune up whoever asks for it.
The offense is there in the system but we can never go down that road of not having some nasty pieces of work in the lineup to compliment our offensively oriented somewhat passive players.
I have no appetite for passivity ever coming even close again to what we were subjected to by Dubas’s flawed approach to team building. He really did adapt this off season to that. This roster won’t be pushed around and thats so huge.
Essentially a better version of KerfootYep. Might be a good scoring winger also that fills in at center when you need. He’s good. He’s got some jam to his game.
I expect Amirov, Robertson and Anderson to all be on the Leafs for the 22-23 season but can you imagine a Marlies squad like this:They'll probably be split up to start, but a Robertson-Abramov-SDA line would be dynamite offensively at some point for the Marlies.
Abramov is probably the most interesting player to watch for the Marlies this year.
No way i am comparing Kerfoot to AbramovEssentially a better version of Kerfoot
