Doable and I like it. Would definitely change the complexion of this team. Could swap in Robertson for additional scoring on that left side if/when needed. Could also pull out Kuraly and Foligno and go for Coleman + Robertson, or Coleman + Joey Anderson.

I would love Coleman as well, but it seems like there are rumblings about him going home to Dallas.

I think it's time to move on from Reilly, Dermott and Holl, Ideally sign Hamilton

Brodie Hamilton
Muzzin Liljegren
Sandin Bogosian

If JT Miller for Reilly is a possibility do it quickly

Great guess, I think you're right.

But is Keefe capable of getting the best out of a player like Domi? His one big year in MTL was really good and he led them in scoring by a bit. Can he play the Kadri role on the pp from back when it worked? With retention its doable as long as Kerf's $3.5M is outbound somehow.

Hamilton is really soft. Much like Jake Gardiner, he's a guy who I would love to have as a difference-maker on the second pair, but I don't want him in key defensive situations

Brodie Hamilton
Muzzin Liljegren
Sandin Bogosian

That's not a play-off blueline.

Stay away from Hamilton, there's a reason a 6'6" "top-pairing" Dman is moving onto his 4th team in 9 seasons.

Does that look like a guy you want to go to battle with in the playoffs?

Side note, people want to dump Rielly and bring in Hamilton, Rielly has been terrific in the playoffs, is younger and a player we already know works well as a top pair with Brodie.

Hamilton hates contact, should fit in nicely with these divas....

Leafs need to open up cap.

Lafreniere for Marner.
Rangers say no even though Laf's absolute ceiling is marner. Marner makes 11M and they have a better player already in Panarin. No need for him.

Keep Laf who should be a good physical 35 goals and 80 point player in his prime and has the physical tools to be a playoff player. Obviously speculating on him becoming an impact playoff performer, but at his cap hit with his potential and the rangers being deep as f*** on the wings it makes no sense for them to move Laf.

I think they would consider Kakko + 2021 1st + Kreider for Tavares if we retained him down to 9M but JT has his NMC and won't be moved.

Rangers could use JT and would have an elite center core with him of Zibby, JT, and Strome, along with Panarin, Buch, Laf, Chytl, Kravstov on the wings

Leafs aren't trading JT even if they wanted to.

That is so Leaf-y. Ew.

I would welcome back Bogosian to a similar price tag as Hjalmarsson, but not sure if he is looking to return here.

You are not the first person I have seen mention this in reference to Bogosian. Was there something said in the exit interviews or what? I cannot find anything said by him or anyone associated with the team to the effect of him not coming back.

Some of the the other commentary I heard was that he was not happy with his role... that makes no sense, he is a 5-6 where ever he goes.

Personally I would love for him to come back, would have to be at the same $1 mil rate... maybe he feels he can get more elsewhere.

He came in at a bargain rate to cash in on what s likely his last major contract. It will cost a minimum 2m to sign him.

If they get Domi, it would be either as a sheltered 3C or a winger for Tavares. He's very bad defensively so he can't play the same type of matchup role as Kadri.

I think Jenner is the better target from Cls but Domi could be a decent reclemation project

Korpisalo would be a great target too. Have he and campbell fight it out for the starter role...both on 1 year low cap hit contracsts.

Dubas the pioneer who is playing 3D chess, vision of winning the cup is about to include going with 2 above average backup goalies at low cap hits. Willing to bet the farm it will not work.

Cizikas is great, but cant see the Islanders giving him up. Plus he'll get paid like 3+ million.
I'm also a fan, but would rather go after Kuraly, he's bigger, and cheaper, and anything we can take away from Boston, is good.

Goaltending is not his strong suit like contracts are his kryptonite......

Maybe Dubas can get Kekalainen drunk and trade Marner for Jones.

Kekalainen would get drunk if he was able to trade Jones for Marner.

CBJ having a star forward locked in long-term would be a huge boon for them vs. a player entering his UFA year.
