Simmonds too with JT down low.. crash the f***ing net... anything. Muzzin could play point on 1st PP. Hell give Sandin a go. They need to stop doing the same shit over and over with the PP that's forsure.

New ideas lol - they didn't even try splitting up MM and AM. It was months of horrible PP results and they made no adjustments in the playoffs. But you know, it will all be different next year. What a f'n ringing endorsement for his coaches too

The comments about wanting to give both Sandin and Liljegren a shot at being full time NHL'ers plus bringing in a veteran backup is interesting.
Maybe it's as simple as waiving the vet if we don't need them, but if we're giving BOTH a shot we already have a pretty crowded blueline- we've got one open spot to be won in the top 6 without a Dermott trade. Maybe we're looking at a rotation with Dermott on the bottom pair? Or maybe breaking up Muzzin Holl to go

Need to have 7-8 good dmen. Muzzin is guaranteed to get injured in the 1st round. Plus other injuries are always possible.

Our defense was remarkably healthy last year until Bogosian went down late. With injuries hopefully Sandin and Liljegren can find a way to play most of the games.

Rielly on the top PP, put Liljegren on the 2nd.

Pretty much just keep Rielly and Marner away from each other unless you tell Marner to screw off and let Rielly actually take charge once in a while, including shooting from the point.

He had a good season overall last year but there's a lot of goalies out there that they probably could of been had for less money. Seems like a lot for a guy like Smith. I also think he'll bomb this year way more. Time will tell
