Leafs lost a roster player as well.
Look at our roster on Friday.
Look at it today.
Note the difference (hint: there isn't one)
Now do the same for Pittsburgh

plus McCann
You don't believe McCann would have been on the roster had he not been selected?Look at our roster on Friday.

how is nobody even discussing a potential taylor hall deal for 4 years at 6 AAV with the Bruins in the atlantic division.
seriously!
But Burke and hextall who prioritize grit and truculence ended up sending two middle 6 guys out the doorLook at our roster on Friday.

They lost one like every other team and gained a player and a pick in a trade.
If you net it out, Leafs lost two players and a pick. Pens lost a player and gained a pick.
I love how suddenly Hallander is now somehow a long shot prospect as though he's a 24yo 7tth rounder. If you net it out the Leafs lost a long shot prospect and a 7th. The Pens lost two roster players and gained above noted assets.
Perspective…….They lost one like every other team and gained a player and a pick in a trade.

You got to follow the Team Dubas narrative, also just in McCann wasn’t a very good player, good thing the Cracken selected him……..I love how suddenly Hallander is now somehow a long shot prospect as though he's a 24yo 7tth rounder.
Look at our roster on Friday. It sucked
Look at it today. It still sucks
Note the difference (hint: there isn't one) It sucks
Now do the same for Pittsburgh Makes no difference to us.
Google him to find his age and draft position.he wasn’t?
who talked about hallander? Like ever?
I mean sda and hollowel get more hype here. Durzi and grundstrom?

Google him to find his age and draft position.
Then have a look at the excellent season he put together in the SHL.
Should answer your question.
I guess they still could but doesn't seem to put them in a position to succeed. Would be nice to have a little experience beside them. Depth is great to have and we finally seem to have some.....but I was hoping to see them get steady minutes instead of being yoyo'd again. Build confidence instead of thinking theyll be out with any little mistake. Why couldn't they?
Also, injuries don't happen? Depth isn't good to have?
Calling him irreplaceable would be as asinine as saying he was a longshot, neither of which I didNot a long shot prospect, but also one that is far from irreplaceable.
He was a can’t miss asset when boy wonder acquired him, then suddenly he was garbage once traded. The sheer devotion that Dubas can do no wrong is mind boggling.I love how suddenly Hallander is now somehow a long shot prospect as though he's a 24yo 7tth rounder.

Better than every player being a piece of shit when we get them and then turning into gold when we get rid of them...He was a can’t miss asset when boy wonder acquired him, then suddenly he was garbage once traded. The sheer devotion that Dubas can do no wrong is mind boggling.
Its true 2 rookies on defence paired together may be fine. I like your confidence and hope youre right. They've been pro's for years and there's a plethora of experience on defense and on the team. They'll be fine.
Yeah I dunno, I'd say being one of only five <21 year olds among the top 77 skaters in pts in the SHL pretty impressive, with four of those guys being arguably more highly touted players. His production stalled. He had solid underlying numbers though, so it was promising, but he did not exactly have an "excellent" season.
Holmberg had a similar regular season but followed it up with an outstanding playoffs. Hallander did not do that.
Opposite side of the same coin.Better than every player being a piece of shit when we get them and then turning into gold when we get rid of them...
