It's not that hard, basically just swapping out Brodie and him in which covers most of it.
Yeah I don't understand how people don't get this concept or the fact you'd even have to explain it... Obviously if you go for Parayko another big or two medium sized contracts would be going out... Brodie + Liljegren gone... That's $6.4M in cap space and I'd much rather have Parayko then Brodie And Liljegren.

There is a very click-baity baseless rumor out there for Parayko on a rumor website I don't care to mention. It would be a coup if Leafs pulled it off though lol.

Yeah I just don’t think you give up a first for Savard or Dumba or Walker….. I would however give it up for Parayko… make it happen Tre

I look at it the other way around. The fact that it took so little to acquire Tarasenko, even with 50% retention, tells me that he was not a valued commodity.

He had a no-trade clause and selected Florida as his destination.

Even if he hadn't how could you think Vladimir Tarsenko wouldn't be a valued commodity? Based on what? He's a speedy winger with an excellent shot and he uses a stocky, muscular frame well to make him a physical presence as well.

He would have been outstanding on Matthews wing, but obviously his no-trade clause made that an impossibility, but the idea that he isn't a great addition to the Panthers is a bizarre take.

Maybe so slow hes always behind the play and it looks like he's back on D?

You are mixing Taraskeno up with another player.

So far you've called him "so slow" when speed is one of his best assets and you earlier claimed he was a huge defensive liability which isn't true either.

It seems like the Pacific is where all the load ups are happening, kind of like our division from last year.

Edmonton's 1st was burning a hole in their pocket so I'm sure that was traded for those 2 players at 50% or something

He's certainly slowed down from where he was in the past (or looked it last time I saw the teams play).

I also think a 25 goals, 60 point guy whos (ignoring every stats analyst out there) good defensively would grab more of a return, no matter what kind of leverage no?

Andy Strickland tweeted out that Parayko would have to waive his NTC and that he hasn’t been approached… now why would a Blues reporter come out and tweet something like that if there is no smoke to these rumors?

Also I would highly anticipate if Parayko was asked he would definitely waive just my opinion
