Seems very much like Adam Erne, and went for the same price as Adam Erne. At least Erne is doing better this year; Lemieux is pretty underwhelming all together.

Just because people here wildly overrated him and we’re offering top 90 picks and/or quality prospects for him doesn’t mean that was suddenly his value.

There’s a reason a team like the Rangers, with a couple game winning streak, would be strongly in the playoff picture are willing to dump this guy to a bottom feeder.

Which of those goals was Campbell supposed to stop? The Nurse one was borderline, but it looked like it was tipped, or at least had a really odd release. The other two were not on Campbell at all.

Campbell has been solid but I'd like to see him do it for a nice stretch of games before he starts ahead of a healthy Andy. Jets will be a good test for him.

There's very little downside if the Leafs can add him without having to remove a player from the roster.

It still seems like a Foligno could provide something they lack more.

Pierre is 100% the Hyman to Keefe's Babcock. He see's something there, and if he turns out right it will be awesome.

I don't hate the pure two-way 3rd line, but depending on the forward we bring in I like the mentality of power-power-exploit more than power-power-survive

If Kerfoot is used in a trade, I think the simple solution is the below.

Acquisition - Matthews - Marner
Galchenyuk - Tavares - Nylander
Mikheyev - Engvall - Hyman
Thornton - Spezza - Simmonds

If he isn’t, than Thornton and Simmonds will need to rotate in and out of the lineup. Probably Spezza too. Maybe Galchenyuk falls off and comes out of the lineup.
