Other than the big 4 and maybe Kampf, the rest are MEH. Bunting and Kerfoot are huge disappointments so far. I do not see any having a Nick Paul moment in the playoffs.

I love Kampf, that guy actually deserves a similar extension to Jarnkrok, it's hard to find good centres.

Kerfoot should definitely go.

Bunting compared to last season has been relatively disappointing but at 950k, he's not killing us.

At least Bunting is having a down year considering he’s up for a new contract after the year. Better now than locking him up and being a disappointment with a new contract. I still want him re-signed but I definitely see him more of a third liner than a top six winger.

Yeah I still like the kid and have not given up on him. Bunting as our 3rd best LWer and playing in our bottom would be ideal. Problem is he is our best LWer.

Jarnkrok was a signing almost everyone liked at the time, but he has been the worst of the forwards so far.

Kerfoot has been pretty meh... but the interesting thing, when played with Tavares, and either Marner or Nylander, they've had decent possession, and 5 goals for, 1 against.... That seems to be working, as meh as Kerfoot is. The real problem, if you want to call it that, is the third line isn't good.

You mean the 4th line cause clearly kampf line is the 3rd line if we’re looking at ev toi

Ironically, evolving hockey predicted that Jarnkrok would sign for 4.4×4.

It would be nice to form a third line with an identity. Bunting - Kampf - ________ . Just not sure who would be a good and realistic target to acquire. Aston Reese - Holmberg - Jarnkrok can be the fourth line.

Malgin isn’t too bad and Anderson could get another try it’s not like anyone else is running away with it

So at the same time, everyone thinks they can rob Dubas blind but they also don't bother to call him because they want to make worse deals elsewhere?

Are you just trying to argue with me? I'm sure every GM in the league calls every other GM in the league before making every deal. My point was its asinine to look at deals from the blind outside perspective of "oh why weren't we on that" when you have no idea if we were or even if the opportunity was made available to be.

I swore there was one of those stupid evolving hockey pictures that had Justin Holl as a $5-6M defender.

I consider them more comedy than anything.

It's more reasonable that Dubas made a mistake betting on this group again than him not getting calls because he's a young GM no? I'd think Sakic and Yzerman are more likely have their numbers blocked in preemptive self defense.

Those are completely different subjects and had nothing to do with what I said.

Hopefully someone picks Simmonds up. The extra roster spot would be nice to have, plus for his own sake since I’m sure he’d rather be playing than watching.

Could we move out Jarnkrok for a late pick? Rather not be stuck with him for the next 4 years as he ages. Might make more sense in off season.

I know the need at forward is scoring but Dakota Joshua in Vancouver would be a smart target to play 4C and move Kampf up to 3C. Joshua was an analytics darling last year in 4th line minutes and he's top 20 in hits/60 the last 2 years (min 200mins played). He's signed through next season at 825k. This is all assuming Vancouver is willing to move off of anyone.

Moving Kampf up to 3C could allow the Leafs to dress Robertson as 3LW with Kampf covering the middle of the ice.
Joshua is finally finding his stride.. starting to play well..

It is one of those weird ones where you would have to give vancouver incentive to get rid of a cheap big versatile fourth line guy who is cheap
