I'm just basing it off what we've seen this year. Team like Edmonton could use a guy like that and it's definitely an upgrade on Ceci and Barrie.

He definitely would be but I just can't see us getting a first for him
Jesus I'd love to be wrong though, even a second or two would be great

If we do have scouts at the Ducks game, would it be Gibson?

Doubt it, he's been pretty average for awhile and he makes to much for what he brings

Both Kerfoot and Engvall have their pros and cons. It’ll depend on what management wants

Kerfoot is a lot more aggressive and willing to put his body on the line. But, he’s small, can’t score and is prone to making big errors

Engvall is a big body with great skating who can occasionally go powerforward mode while sniping. But, he’s soft as hell and struggles immensely when there’s 0 space. Guess how much space there will be during the Tampa series…

I hope we get a goalie. Too much riding on Samsanov. If he gets hurt or doesn’t perform all those moves are for nothing.

Murray is coming back, and the other goalies available are not that good. Like if your hopes are riding on Korpisalo or Talbot, are you really in that good of a spot? I would rather just trust Woll at that point.

Late to the party, oh my Dubas...good work!
One more trade to go.

Do not include Holl or Sandin, and certainly not both, unless you're going to substantially upgrade at D. Tampa, Boston, and then whoever comes out of the Metro? We'll need all the D we have. By my count: Rielly, Brodie, McCabe, Gio, Lily, Sandin, Holl, Timmins and Benn makes 9, and I'm guessing Kral joining the playoff roster and we've got as deep a Dcorp as any. Maybe not the best 6, but there's a lot to like in having depth. There are going to be injuries, for every team, and depth will play a big role.

I think our best chance lies in running Matthews, Tavares, ROR and Kamph down the middle. Yes, we can stack JT and ROR on the 2nd, but get one more good winger and...

Bunting Matthews Marner/Nylander
?/Jarnkrok Tavares Nylander/Marner
?/Jarnkrok ROR ?/Jarnkrok
Lafferty Kamph Acciari
ZAR Holmberg McMann
Knies

Engvall and/or Kerfoot will be gone by the deadline.

Only logical targets, I think Henrique could be a solid skill guy to have in the top 6 now.

Vatrano makes the third line better. Depends on what Dubas thinks is left.
Looking into his underlying numbers some more Henrique would be a great add and a huge upgrade on Kerfoot/Engvall but his cap hit is steep (5.8M AAV) and he still has one year remaining which is an absolute killer. If the Ducks retained half then it could maybe work but then it could jeopardize our ability to re-sign Bunting and ROR in the offseason. I would've wanted Dubas to be all over this otherwise if Henrique was an expiring deal.

Vatrano is intriguing but he's bad defensively (some of the worst numbers on a horrible team) and wouldn't really fit well with what it looks like Dubas is trying to do with the bottom six IMO.

I see posters talking about Kerfoot to Vancouver is there some rumor to it? Kerfoot is a pending UFA why would Vancouver trade picks or prospects for him?
Bc they need PR for their season. Getting Kerfoot will give the fan base something to cheer for, esp if and when he extends. A hometown boy coming home to sign extension.

Personally, I think this is just Vancouver medias trying to get fan base to have interest on their team.

Max Comtois (half retained), come on down....Nick Robertson, enjoy home cooking.
Like his size and speed. Kerfoot to Vancouver for picks and use those picks for Comtois

Henrique at 50% with Kerfoot + Engvall Going the other way gives us a space for sure, but idk enough to get Murray....

See I think this would make sense but might require another double retention. Vatrano could be had cheap I'm sure which may be an appeal, but Its tough!

Canucks want their team to tank for Bedard. Trading for Kerfoot does the opposite of what they want. They don’t need that PR. I live in the Vancouver area and all the Canuck fans I talk to are cheering hard for tank for Bedard. Trading a prospect for Kerfoot would annoy them.

Yeah, Seravalli speculated about VAN being interested:

No idea why the Canucks would do it, unless it is a $ in/$ out deal (Kerfoot is making near-league minimum after his signing bonus was paid out) or maybe they want to sign him for next year? He is from BC.

That is one reason why I think Engvall is the guy who might go. He's someone who I could see a team shelling out a pick to get his rights at the draft before he hits UFA.

I live in Vancouver too. Fans want to tank but I think the owners don’t think that way. They want a retool.
