Its time to improve the mustache/60. The only thing this team is lacking before being considered elite.

Wtf is this shit

All this talk from Dubas about willing to move a top prospect is scaring me. :( I would rather wait until Simmonds returns and play Gally and Robertson than trade for another forward unless he was a Hyman kind of player.

Other than that I'd rather Dubas make acquiring a good goalie a high priority because that's what the team needs most. Add a decent Dman that doesn't cost much and call it a day. Keep our best prospects and let them PLAY FOR US than moving them. I don't know why we need to go into a more win now mode when we're starting to build a nice pipeline of good young players that can step up and replace current players on the team if they get moved/get too expensive.

+1 to all this, especially the bolded.

Have you learned from your mistake now?

Never read the main boards

Or read them if you want, but at least refrain from spreading the idiocy from there to our board.

Are we going all in or not .ALL IN MEANS ALL IN
We're going all in.
But the Calibur of players that we need to add doesn't realistically require a Robertson/Sandin piece.

We don't want Hall, Forsburg doesn't fit capwise, and Ekholm is 100% unnecessary.

Granlund, Rakell, Palmari, or whoever you want can realistically be acquired without giving up those elite prospects

I just don't see why we wouldn't want a retained Hall. There's a glaring hole on the JT-Nylander line that Galchenyuk probably can't fill.

Ducks fans really asking for Robertson, a 1st and Kerfoot for Rakell eh.

Count me out if that is the managements asking price too.
Ducks fans (or certain posters) seem to overvalue their players like crazy, like when they wanted Nylander+ for Manson a season or two ago. Don't think the asking price will be close to that.

If Rackell is at 50% retained, I can see some form of interest in that... maybe... a little...

Troy Terry would be good in this too... maybe add another pick or something.

I think there's something there.

Mark Stone (plus long term extension) was traded for Lindberg, Brannstrom and a 2nd.

Should be a decent barometer for the high value players.

As a public service reminder....Kerfoot plays C, Rakell is a W.

2018/19 - Rakell - 43 points
2019/20 - Rakell - 42 points

2018/19 - Kerfoot - 42 points
2019/20 - Kerfoot - 28 points (missed time with a broken face and played with a full shield)

Kerfoot - $3.5 million cap hit for 2 more seasons.
Rakell - $3.8 million cap hit - UFA after next season.

Can anyone figure why this move would require the addition of Robertson and a 1st other than Ducks fans breathing in too much toxic fumes?

Because Anaheim being a bad team somehow makes their guys more valuable. They have the most expensive 40 point wingers and .900 goalies in the league.

Really wish we figured out this secret from 2007-2016, all we got was 2nds for our trash.

Rakell is a high end 2nd line winger while kerfoot is a decent 3C. Pretty big value gap there

Per 82 game paces the past two years have been

Rakell
2018/2019 > 51
2019/2020 > 53

Kerfoot
2018/2019 > 44
2019/2020 > 35

104 pts over 164 projected games versus 79 pts over 164 projected games. Kerfoot spent a fair chunk of 2019 with Mack and got points as a winger opposed to his natural C position. He has also played both years on higher scoring teams than rakell who plays for an offensively inept ducks team

Rakell can generate his own offense and create plays for his linemates constantly while kerfoot isnt skilled enough to make similar plays

I dont know if rakell is worth robertson+1st even at 50% but his value is quite high with him having a year of term and of retained coming in at pess than 2 million

I'd try and get them to make a move at 2 B prospects (abramov/hirvonen/hallinder/kokkonen/kral) along with a 1st rather than paying Robertson but not sure if it would be enough.

I'd try granlund instead if he comes in at a 2nd rounder and hope he can find chemistry with 88 and 91

I haven't looked into Granlund a great deal, but it seems that they both produce at relatively similar levels. How much of an upgrade would he be, and why?

He's better offensively. His numbers the past few seasons have been really handicapped by the fact the Preds are terrible. He was a 1st line forward for the Wild, and while he's likely not quite at that level any more, play him with guys like Nylander and his numbers will jump up into likely high end 2nd line territory.

His defensive play is also very strong

I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't move any of Sandin/Robertson/Amirov for anyone other than Forsberg based on names mentioned so far (maybe Amirov for Ekholm). The potential value those three offer on ELCs is way too important to move for a middle six forward or expiring contract. Amirov's NA availability maybe makes him a little more expendable but the upside is both tantalizing to think about and scary to trade so early.
