Not sold on Stewart - but do keep in mind that his 15 goals this season would make him tied for 2nd on the team with Zukes.
Not too familiar with Stewart... Where would he slot in?

He's like Wolski 2. 2nd/3rd line talented enigma
From what I've heard Stewart is a consistent scorer which Wolski was definitely not.

Stewart is most certainly NOT a consistent scorer.

Stewart is not a consistent anything.

See that's a problem. Cally is slotted in a line above his talent
I thought we wanted to get better players
Stewart is borderline better but unable to offer up anything resembling a consistent effort.
Think wolski and zherdev with some frolov thrown in.
So, we need a center or we need to transform zucc into a center haha.
Zucc actually did play center in the KHL for a little while btw

He said nothing about turning Kreider into a center.![]()
I can't think of any successful NHL centers who are that small. Our center depth does suck though.
To me. Stewart has proven he is the same player in STL as he was in Colorado.
Inconsistent in every aspect of his game that are his only assets.
I don't see this as equal value at all and after selling low on DZ, albeit, for a player that filled a need on many levels, IMO Sather should be fired immediatly for selling low on two worthwhile assets in one season.
I really don't think he sold low on DZ. His value had dropped like a rock. Do you really think sather turned down better offers to take Klein?
Don't think it's that much of a drawback.
If Stewart is not playing the way we want, or he doesn't fit, flip him for a 1st at next year's deadline.
MDZ should have been traded earlier then, no? The constant scratches really hurt his value as well.
