We should try & grab a big young 3rd pairing RD that might not cost as much in Helge Grans from LA, he aready looks close to being NHL ready.

What's "the whole Zaitsev thing"?
Just keeping an eye on him for some reason. Maybe he will break into a dance between two periods. Changing his career from a hockey player to an entertainer

People often forget the part where he is a very good young RD that was drafted in the 2nd rd by LA. Look him up.
He's 20. What good does that do us in the next couple years? Kleven is closer to being ready I bet. Bless your soul...big player, not in the NHL or on our team...pencil him in the line up! Great stuff. Hehehe.

Grans is a good young prospect who it would be nice to have but he is not anywhere close to solving our RD issue on the Ottawa Senators.

If we were still rebuilding I'd love to grab a player like Grans, but he'd probably be behind Thomson and JBD for the next year at least.

I have no doubt that Aragorn knows the player. It just sort of fits his posting profile. Just a joke, not a dig at all.

Oh absolutely. Wasn't trying to imply that.

Some people just need to be reminded that being 6'4 doesn't make you a solution to everything. Not just talking about our resident tall man connoisseur.

Kleven. He will be ready before the other kid and he fits the profile and a need on this team to a T.

ehhhhhh. I'm not as sold on Kleven as others. I'd take Grans over Kleven at this point, although Kleven seems to be making strides in his game.

I agree with The Aragorn on Kleven. For sure third pair by the end of next year. In a couple more he will be a third/second pair tweener.

The thing I like about Kleven is that he has some nastiness on the ice. It’s frustrating to watch big guys who don’t use their size in a physical manner. Can’t coach physicality into a player.
