Same old song and dance with you. There is no saying what we could have gotten for Brown at last years deadline, not a lot of contenders want to acquire term at that point. Brown would probably have the most value at this year’s deadline but it sounds like he is moving now.There would definitely need to be a significant plus to Puljujarvi for it to be a fair swap.
Rumour has it that no team has been willing to offer much for Puljujarvi, much like how no team has been willing to offer much for Brannstrom.
If they were offered a 2nd round pick they'd probably take it for him at this point. I imagine most of the offers have been a 3rd or lower.
I'm still pissed off we didn't trade Brown at the deadline. Dorion should have been discussing terms with Brown and his agent on an extension and figured out that he wasn't interested in staying. Would have gotten way more in return at the deadline than trading him now in the off-season. Terrible asset management to deal him now.
