We really need to use the Chicago Black Hawk Model. Sather has gotten away from that and has started to trade picks(ie Ryan Clowe trade et al). We need to keep our picks and acquire more picks. They all don't have to be first rounders but when we can get 10+ picks a year, more ping pong balls will be more wins. Some will be busts but we need to get back to keeping our picks and getting more kicks at the can

haha you kids crack me up. Is everyone done getting their little imaginary crosschecks in? Listen, I don't post here much, but I do like to check in here and there. I open a trade thread to get maybe some info and all it is for the most part is incessant whining. I'm not happy with mediocrity and I've been watching the Rangers for 30 years. I love the game and the team. Maybe it's just an old school mentality, but as frustrated as I am as a fan, I just can't or won't wish my team to fail. That doesn't sit well with me and wanted to toss it in here.

Pounce on me all you want guys, it's cool and I don't take offense. It's actually kind of funny how quickly the elbows came flying hahaha.

He is finding it harder this season to offload tickets than in previous years. New York is full of liberal idiots. They are loyal to what's "in".

Like I said, I don't like this situation the team is in, I hate Sather and I'd like to see something done about it. Wether that be trades, call-ups whatever...I'm in! What I'm not used to is being around people who wish failure for a team they pull for. Maybe I should have been more online friendly with my initial comment, but what are ya gonna do? It's how I felt at the time and still do. No malice intended though.

That said I don't want to see Girardi or Cally moved, but if they are I'll understand because they hold value. DZ is another story. I'd love to see a guy like McQuaid here.

I don't want this team to lose any game they play. But I also don't want this team to be .500 and bounced every year in the first round. With that being said I'm all for a full on rebuild but most fans can't sit through that , just because I wanna trade players and get a top draft pick doesn't make me less of a fan than anyone, in fact I feel like I'm more reasonable than most. some of you guys have become delusional with your over value and undervalue of players. Hank has a bad start trade him but has 3 good games and everyone flip flops. Nothing worse than a flip flop fan

How did you come to that conclusion? Most fans are willing to stand by their team as long as they play hard for 60 minutes every night. It's the organization that won't go through a rebuild, because they need to justify the million dollars a year they charge for luxury boxes by having stars in the lineup.

I think i'll listen to nobody if those are my choices. Who replaces Girardi's minutes? Trade for 2 unknowns players but you have no replacement for Girardi. If you say Allen, Stralman, Moore or DZ then the conversation is over. You need another guy who can take those minutes and they cant, maybe DZ but not on the right side

Winnipeg is getting some real RD depth. Buff, Bogosian and Trouba. They have little depth on the left side.

Trouba is a kid I really would give up a lot to get. Just about anything.

I disagree with the people saying the Rangers need pieces back for right now. They need very good pieces back period. 18 years old or older it doesn't matter. They need pieces back that can help put them over the hump in the future when they seriously compete.

1st's are fine, as long as they make good selections. I don't understand this short term thinking. Maximize the return. If a team is willing to give a 1st + top prospect + instead of their 25 year old dman take it. Some teams are more willing to move more value in futures so they can compete now. The Rangers are not in that place.

Change the 2nd to a 1st and they still don't they pull the trigger. Bogosian and Trouba are young and have years left on their current deals.

Don't make the mistake of letting something like that deter us from improving in total talent.
