Well they kinda are. Thomas is a 1C, same with Larkin, you can argue that Hischer when you include his two way game plays like one. But on a cup winning team, they're better off as either 1Bs or 2s

For all the rumors that there is no way Habs and Rangers would talk because of the Gorton/Drury history, it's interesting that the last few days, we got reports that Habs have interest in Trocheck and now Seravalli mentions Lafrenière and the Habs.

As for the Gorton/Drury stuff, I never understood that narrative. Yes, Gorton (and Davidson) got fired and Drury took the reigns. But Drury was Gorton's AGM for 6 years. There is a relationship there.
