Folks, please get this simple idea in your head:

No waiver pick up will fix this team.just stop with the constant waiver watch
For depth not to fix anything. I agree. I’d rather they have a journeyman than call up a prospect. I firmly believe in having a successful group in Laval this year. It frustrates the hell out of me when they call guys up for nothing and it screws Laval.

Would you guys give up Newhook+Barron+Dvo(50%)+2nd for ROR+Sissons+Schenn

Feel like gritty vets can help this roster a bit and improve development.
u can get that package for future considerations/cap dumps and move our players for picks

ROR is way more valuable than DVO IMO, high hockey sense and cup winning experience... even got the leafs to win a round. Sissons is also cheap gritty playoffs type C along with RD Schenn.

ROR's always been a solid player but at this point there's a lot of wear and tear on his body, he's a depth piece not a main piece, he's the perfect 3C for a cup contender

I don't know what the plans are, but with Demidov coming in next season, we'll have 4 offense oriented winger and only 1 established offense oriented center. I'm terrible at math and even I can see how the numbers don't quite add up there. We need a solid 2 C to take full advantage of the roster we have, plain and simple. Either it's a rejuvenated Dach or someone else, we need it or we'll be wasting everybody's time.

Probably the biggest "non move" mistake made in the history of the team.
Way back in the day the Habs had a chance to sign Gordie Howe as the Red Wings forgot to put him on a protective list. Instead of signing him, they gave the Wings a head's up for some reason and they obviously signed him.

Imagine that dynasty.

I get why Nazar gets mentioned as he was selected with the pick we got for Romanov, but the fact is we only traded Romanov to get Dach, so whoever was selected with that pick was never being picked by us.
We traded two picks in that deal.
