Reid Schaefer would be one
Svechkov another and as mentioned, L'Heureux would be another. Joakim Kemmel and then whatever prospects they might have outside of the AHL.
Reid Schaefer would be a really nice piece to acquire that might be reasonable in a deal for Matheson
Nashville also have 3x1st and 2x2nd
That's fair.I like Reid Schaefer, but if/when I'm trading Matheson, it's to acquire assets that we then flip for a medium/long term top 4 RD.
Not really . GM for 50 years and won nothing.Poile always ready for a rebuild or trade, smart guy
well he's competitive and has made the playoffs more often than notNot really . GM for 50 years and won nothing.

They need Matheson for sure.
They have many picks and L’Heureux would be a great target. Exactly the type of player we don’t have
Get on the phones Jerry!!They need Matheson for sure.
I hear Matheson is really good on his off wingthey need RD not even more LDs
They need Matheson for sure.
There's Carrier but he's playing top 4 for them so I guess they need him. They do have young forwards that are very, very interesting. Mainly L'heureux that I'd like to acquire. We could also grab Sissons if they want cap space, he'd be a fine 4th/3rd line addition. The issue is I would want a RD for Matheson and I don't think we could get a RD player/good prospect for him from Nashville. I feel like a 1st round would be too late to bring a relevant RD.
Anaheim isn’t doing this lolDach for Zegras.
Dach is slow and lazy, Zegras can skate.

Im not that big on Zegras but ''softer'' after watching Dach plays for 2seasons.... yeah im not sure about thatyes lets get smaller and softer
i just don't understand why anybody wants Zegras still.
dach is bigger will fight and is more psychical than zegrasIm not that big on Zegras but ''softer'' after watching Dach plays for 2seasons.... yeah im not sure about that
Yeah I was talking about Sissons as a dump. I'd say they have a bunch of interesting prospects and players though. Of course the crown jewel is Wood, don't think they go there. Kemell maybe more but I'm less interested. I'd say Surin, Evangelista, Svechkov, Kiiskinen, Stiga, Marques, Nilsson, O'hara, heck even Jatkola are all quite interesting to varying degree.Sissons doesn't move the needle for me. He's on the wrong side of 30 and not exactly a guy I'd target. Basically a warm body at this point.
L'Heureux is an ok piece, but definitely not the main target I'd have for a piece like Matheson.
I look at their list and there isn't anything that really fills a need while also being a realistic ask.
Dach is not even remotely soft. He looks bad after a long layoff but calling him soft is ridiculous.Im not that big on Zegras but ''softer'' after watching Dach plays for 2seasons.... yeah im not sure about that
Evans on the second.. fixedWe could really use a 2nd line center.
Laine-Suzuki-Dach
Caufield-X-Slafkovsky
Anderson-Dvorak-Gallagher
Heineman-Evans-Armia
It's going to be interesting to see what they do with the lineup once Laine gets back & everyone is healthy. No idea where Newhook fits. I don't think they see him as center. Dach sucks as a center, too.
I like Condotta and the physicality he brings, too.
Evans is not a 2C. He is at best a 3C.Evans on the second.. fixed
