That’s a weird one. I thought the last thing they needed was another centre.
They need depth. They’re likely going to load up McDavid and Draisaitl together in the playoffs as it seems like that what’s McDavid wants. Add Hyman there and you’ve got a terrific line but the bottom parts have to be fleshed out as well.

Henrique wouldn’t be my priority but he would flesh out that third line and give them some much needed depth if they’re loading up that first line.

I'm still here in 2007 waiting for Hossa's gloves to become a reality :p

I want us to do what Philly did in the Walker trade. Get a 1st or a good draft pick even if it means taking a bad contract back. And then putting the bad contract on waivers and in Laval.

We could do that with Savard, Anderson, Armia, Allen, and Dvo.

Hughes wouldn't have waived Johansen, he's an old vet and he would be the Habs 2nd line center right now...

Brière just doesn't give a damn.

Colorado will be hard to beat.

The east hasn't bulked up at all yet. Boston, Toronto, Tampa, Canes, Rangers....it's going to take some additions to get by Colorado, Vancouver, Edmonton.

I can't believe Tarasenko went for such a low return. Sure the Rangers were bad in the playoffs last year. But that's not all on Tatasenko.

The guy is on pace for 23 goals and 53 points! And he helped the Blues win the cup! The market easily forgets.

Full no-trade clause and he only wanted to go to Florida because his wife and kids live there. There was nothing to bargain for Ottawa to raise his price tag.

Tarasenko had nmc clause. He could basically pick and choose if and where to be traded. Sens had no negotiating power.
