Footage of the type of skill level needed for Hughes to create cap room given the state of the market.Figure out a way to trade price and/or gallagher to liberate cap space for hub and pld when they become ufa/rfa

I'm enthusiastically hoping that Dach will reach his potential or close to it.why don’t you say posters are enthusiastically saying dach is gonna be a 60pt player
I think your predictive powers of future facts could be used for more productive purposes like playing the lottery or the stock market .11 goals in last 88 games
It doesn’t take a genius too figure it out
He will never be as good as PLD and PLD is a second line centres
Temper your expectations
Are they blood relatives with Dach? Do they train with him?Im just not expecting much after watching Galchenyuk, Drouin and kk
It's not very important to be a sign & trade.
If PLD was traded tomorrow, he would be a Habs on a 1 year contrat going to be RFA, which means the Habs could sign him to their likings, up to the max of 8 years.
I trust Hugues (The Agent) to manage contracts carefully.
I'm surprised you weren't able to predict that this conversation is over .Guess what , so am I
He’s be under control till 27 with a good cap hit instead of trading for someone or oner paying in UFA
Im just not expecting much after watching Galchenyuk, Drouin and kk
If he becomes a good 3rd liner with 40 pts a year I’ll be happy
How do you know I haven’t and that’s why I can spend so much time on here during the day…
Is there anything from HuGo’s handling of contracts so far, that leads anyone to believe they would be lax about this sort of thing? With over 30 years experience as an NHL agent, seems to me that Hughes tends to cover his bases. You loose control if you trade for him with the intentions of extending him later. Do you really want to try what the Jets tried? Hope he extends or plays nice on the extension.
No way I trade for Dubois without an extension in place. I'm a fan of Dubois but he's not getting leverage over the Habs.
True story, that’s exactly what happened to psychic Jojo Savard when she was fired from her TV gig. She was charging callers by the minute to dispense advice and predictions about their futures and yet could not even see her own firing coming.I'm surprised you weren't able to predict that this conversation is over .
Alex Semin was a reclamation project. He’s a reclamation project 100%
He’s a 3rd line centre and lots of you are praying he will be more
37pta in last 88 games says a lot
Instead of saying posters are saying he’s gonna bust why don’t you say posters are enthusiastically saying dach is gonna be a 60pt player
It won’t happen just like kk
Alex Semin was a reclamation project.
21 year olds aren't reclamation projects. Dach's a young kid still under development. He's the same age as Caufield. Development is never fluid and there will be ups and downs. Very tall players often take longer.
It's funny how they're able to see everything but their own stupidity .True story, that’s exactly what happened to psychic Jojo Savard when she was fired from her TV gig. She was charging callers by the minute to dispense advice and predictions about their futures and yet could not even see her own firing coming.
Your assumptions of what HuGo will do is just random. You have no idea what would be the deal.If HuGo end up giving up more than Dvorak and a couple of A- prospects for Dubois then sensible fans should exit the building because we are in MB territory AGAIN.
Maybe or maybe not
It’s not trending well for him but then again it depends on what you think his ceiling is?
I do think he will be as good as Dubois and get 60 pts
I do believe he can’t be a 3rd line centre and get 35-40 pts which is far from busting but it’s definitely not what you expect from a 3 OA
he was actually a beast in the bubble its very possible that the wrist injury slowed him downAnd had a major injury that halted his more than acceptable start in the NHL.
Dach's numbers and stats are concerning but not definitive. He's still young and I trust HuGo and his advisers to see something in Dach most of us hasn't seen. Let's wait and see. Worst case, he did cost Romanov when Habs have many D promising to replace Roma. The Dach trade was a lateral move. In worst case, Dach will be a tradable asset and Habs will have other options at center. Like developp a center or acquire a center by trade or ufa signing. It seems like we have some posters enthusiastically arguing that Dach is going to bust.
WTF.
I know we are not. That’s why he isn’t here yet and we have a good GM.Dubois is not a loser. We are not going to gut our franchise to trade for him either. The context you are providing has many flaws in it.
No Habs fan or Hughes is going as deep in a trade like you are presenting so not sure where that is coming from.
If he does, he’ll be our top Center and push Suzuki down. That would be awesome.I'm enthusiastically hoping that Dach will reach his potential or close to it.
Yep. He had 33 pts in 82 regular season games and 6 pts in 9 playoffs games before he get to 20 yo. That's pretty good if you ask me.Dach has 150 NHL games. That's nothing. It isn't until 200 games that a player really breaks out.
Your post is a waste of time because you aren't replying to my post. I never said that the deal i proposed would happen. I said that if HuGo give up much more than that they are idiots and it's time to follow another team.Your assumptions of what HuGo will do is just random. You have no idea what would be the deal.
Your post is a waste of time and the purpose of your post was just to end with MB territory AGAIN.
My post was a waste of time because I answered to your post. Why write if HuGo will do or will not do?Your post is a waste of time because you aren't replying to my post. I never said that the deal i proposed would happen. I said that if HuGo give up much more than that they are idiots and it's time to follow another team.
And since MB almost always overpaid for players it is exactly what he would do.
Evans is a 4th liner. There’s not much more there than that.Evans is just not some 4th liner. He's developed well and is on a solid track to be a very good 3C. Dach has a higher ceiling yes and I'm assuming MSL gives him more ice time over Evans but we are likely looking at 15 min vs 18 min a game difference to start the season and we go from there.
Evans won't play PP but he will play PK. Dach likely is not playing PK but will get PP time.

Again who cares where he was picked years ago?I would agree if he wasn’t a 3oa pick with a pretty bad injury history
He’s got a lot to prove
Healing can take some timeSome people just can't quit Bergevin lol.![]()
