SAKu Maenalanen.Schmidt's not a RHD.
Nucks need to gain cap space. They seriously need Dmen, either side.
Who the hell is Big Sak?
I mean, it's a pretty stupid nickname, not as bad as disparaging nicknames for players floating around here (I hate them and don't think they should be allowed tbh)
I know he's big but I think he plays with a puck...SAKu Maenalanen.
He's big, and plays with balls. He needs a big sak to contain them.
He almost didn't make the team and if the Canucks were healthy to start the season he might be in the press box or even sent down. Apparently Bruce isn't entirely happy with his attention to detail and defensive play.Agreed
Hoglander can score, be a bit of a pest and never stops chasing the puck
Maybe he's sick of playing on that gongshow of a team?He almost didn't make the team and if the Canucks were healthy to start the season he might be in the press box or even sent down. Apparently Bruce isn't entirely happy with his attention to detail and defensive play.
I dont think you have to give up that much. Stan alone would do it.Maybe he's sick of playing on that gongshow of a team?
If he's fallen out of favor, maybe we can get him for a song?
Since the Canucks need a big shakeup maybe we do something like Stan and Schmidt for Hogf***er and Miller?

Hoglander would be fun. ManitobaPork could sponsor him.Often players need a team change or coaching change to excel, we've seen the same thing here.
Most people here liked the Gagner signing. It must really suck to always expect the worst outcome.
I really enjoy feeling excited about the team and it's players, and if they don't hit the heights I've hoped for them, no big deal. It's just a game and entertainment.
This isn't aimed at you but I just don't understand why people would want to be negative and miserable about sport. Find a hobby that brings you happiness.
EDIT: What I also find hilarious is people were shitting on the Gagner acquisition too saying he was done, garbage yadda yadda yadda. I was excited to have him, and looking at last year when he scored 13 on a team with shit linemates, 4th line ice time and very little PP I was pumped to see what he could bring to our bottom six.
Now after what is not necessarily an unexpected start, people are singing his praises. I was happy the whole time.
Idk I saw a lot of bitching and moaning about Chevys bargain basement shopping. Most people here liked the Gagner signing.

And I may be sensitive to negativity around here, especially after the last couple of years.Confirmed with Link: - Jets sign Sam Gagner 1 year / 750 K

I read through the first three pages of that thread and there wasn’t one negative post.
Anywho, doesn’t really matter, I just remember being surprised that HFJets actually came to a positive consensus on something
But I may be misremembering, I’m getting old, y’know
Totally fair, last season’s disappointment brought out a lot negativity (some warranted, some not). And I may be sensitive to negativity around here, especially after the last couple of years.

like who? That wasn't complaining about Gagner. It was complaining about any player Chevy could have signed for <1 mil, aka "bargain basement". Some people wanted a player with a future higher up the depth chart.
A lot of Jets fans have become sensitized to negativity on the ice .... the last couple of years.
like who?
Let's not forget about the pining for Virtanen and Milano. There was a whole thing about how the Jets were very interested in Jarnkrok and I think one other player like that, and they chose elsewhere. The debate went on about is Chevy trying hard enough or handcuffed by being in Winnipeg.
Let's

I had a guy rage on me in Twitter for saying why would we want a guy (Virtanen) who had to sign a pto. He was pushing some cap restriction handshake deal with Calgary conspiracy.
like who?
Agreed
Hoglander can score, be a bit of a pest and never stops chasing the puck
I'd do that in a microsecond. I don't know that the Canucks would give up on a 2019 draft pick that was so promising thoughStanley for Hoglander please.
If you're going to make counter arguments you should be able to back them up.Do you think I keep a list?
