Doesn’t Vancouver like our dmen? Wouldn’t take much for Canucks to play 6 former jets dmen.
Stanley for Hoglander please.
He always reminds me of Perreault whenever we play the Canucks. Maybe he's not that good but he always seems to play like an All Star against us.
GarlandWould you rather have Hoglander or Garland?
I think both are good, I would probably be inclined to go for Hoglander just for his age and better cap implications in the future.Would you rather have Hoglander or Garland?
I kinda worry that the Canucks maybe learned their lesson...Doesn’t Vancouver like our dmen? Wouldn’t take much for Canucks to play 6 former jets dmen.
he was really good for us against edmonton in the bubble during the playoffsBear would have been a good Jet.
Well, what else is new.So I guess unless we get what we want we are staying status quo for the time being.
I take it as the Jets are willing to move a defenceman if it makes them a better team and not just to another team a favour. So I guess unless we get what we want we are staying status quo for the time being.
not sure. but the top-pair has been struggling this year. id get demelo back up there to stabilize them in the defensive end.So if we trade Pionk, which would be my choice, are we comfortable with any of Heinola, Gawanke or Chisholm stepping up and stepping in to play the Right side?
If somebody wants a Right D, I doubt we're getting back anything useful on the right side. I think they gave Dillon and Samberg a quick look there in training camp. Likely we would need to insert an off side defenseman in that spot.
I'm ready for a new look on the backend. I don't think what we currently have, is a winning formula.

Lol yeah, Kovacevic was the answerWell, Heinola plays the right side a fair bit, Gawanke is a RHS - and then of course, we had an NHL ready RHS Dmen and tossed him on the scrap heap. So I doubt we are moving a RHS Dman.
I doubt we are moving any of the current top 5. IF we move anyone it would be Stan, Snerg or someone lower on the depth chart.

Garland, myself. We need scoring a lot more than a pest. Although Hoglander seems to have more scoring touch than many in our bottom-six, I'd still rather have Garland's level of production down there. Although if he was playing with Lowsie instead of Miller/Horvat I don't know how much he'd score.Would you rather have Hoglander or Garland?
Time to shake things up. Let's do what's worst for us and maybe things will get better? Like reverse psychology perhaps?Friedman is an insider that basically states what HF folk talk about daily. The team is going to do what's best for them? Shocked I say.

Honestly don't know enough about either player, but that's my gut feeling.
