I just find Namestnikov a strange pickup because the word was Chevy would want guys with term. Namestnikov is a UFA after this season.

I find it strange when JVR was apparently up for a third. I also did not want JVR.... but unless he has another move on the go.... why? I don't understand it at all.... he is not a needle mover. Why waste anything on someone who is not goign to move the needle. If we were a better team or going all in 100 percent that is fine to slightly upgrade from our list of guys who can't produce with a guy who is smart and can produce a tiny bit more.... but for us it's just not needed if we arn't addressing the real problem of our lack of scoring/ Adam Lowry playing as a 2C wasting top end wingers talents

Fair enough but he played with Rasmussen and Erne the year prior in Detroit. Neither of which are good offensive players.

Well our bottom 6 is mostly really crappy players that don't score often, so being able to play defense is an upgrade.
