Which UFAs do you think will be moved at the TDL?

Friedman mentioned Kerfoot or Bjugstad as possibilities to Colorado. Also that Carcone is a good cheap add for teams.

I see Cooly, Hayton, Bjugstad, McBain as the core centers going forward. I don't trade Bjugstad. We desperately need to upgrade our defense. That will be job#1 this offseason. I would add that we need a defensive coordinator just as bad. If Bear isn't shitcanned for this run of games, his defense coach should be canned.

Bjugstad is just a placeholder until Geekie is ready in another year or two hopefully. The coaches aren’t perfect I’m sure, but they are coaching two guys that should be on waivers, (Dermott, Valimaki) Stecher is injured, and a washed up Dumba…I don’t really think there’s much there for them to work with at the moment unfortunately.

I think he’s worth a shot, but they don’t want to give him up for just a pick. I think the only way they give them up is if they are forced to in a deal to dump the Campbell contract. I think we should give them Schmaltz and take Campbell, their 1st, Broberg, and another asset possibly. I think Schmaltz for Broberg straight up is almost fair, maybe a bit in our favor…but then that difference is made up by taking Campbell for just a 1st. I think the value is close. BA might be able to do better though and I’m not sure he wants to take contracts like that anymore, unless he really believes Campbell can be useful in a tandem with Ingram. Would also free up a move for Veggie….

I don't know if John Madden is coaching defense, or if it's Duhamel or Forsythe. Whoever it is, they're definitely no Corey Schwab.

Then again, Corey Schwab hasn't done a whole lot to help Vejmelka, so maybe that's not a viable comparison... :laugh:
