The Habs literally are the winners of this deadline. I get Giroux and lindholm and others went to teams. But look at that MFing haul. Like it just looks absurd even reading it back to yourself. Months ago we were talking 2-4th rounders for our top pieces. Then look at thay list. All I can say is wow and have nothing but excitement for the Habs future which has been awhile.

Like I don't ever think we'd of seen a deadline like this with old regimes Gainey/Gauthier or even Bergevin.

It came out that Chicago proposed MAF for knies, mrazek, and 1st (or something like that) and Toronto Saud no. Dubas got all pissy that the media found out specfic names. Guess he worked under Lou Lams for too long and cares too much about stuff like that.

My take:

Dubas didn't want his players to know he was legitimately shopping for a goalie. Jack Campbell has confidence issues and Dubas is a player's GM.
