Agreed, no idea why they went away from Bedard/Bertuzzi when its been clear as day the best combo to date. No other combination has really come close.

Not worth demoralizing Bedard even further to jump from a 3rd to maybe a 2nd in a garbage draft.

Yeah they were put together because Donato happened to be on a heater and Nazar-Bedard-Bertuzzi went scoreless for a couple games.

Theres always an excuse. This guy doesnt fit the timeline, we need increase his value, we need depth down the lineup etc.. Bedard is your most important piece in this whole billion dollar operation. We need to put someone with him for him to succeed.

They should have found someone in the offseason with some talent to play with him. Donato getting a 2nd or 3rd should not force your 19 year star whos under heavy scrutiny from himself and everyone in the hockey world to play with 4th liners.

Stick him with Bertuzzi Tuevo and/or Nazar and let them play every game. Depth of the lineup doesnt matter.

They need to get Rantanen or Marner. Make a big trade for a legit top 6 player. Hell I am coming around on Ehlers or Boeser out of desperation.

Bertuzzi is exactly what he has always been netfront pro. Hes a .5ppg player that is a good third wheel guy on the 2nd or 3rd line.
