The rest were all just trades that made sense. Bottom-6 RFA who was going to get a lot of money, when we already pay our bottom-6 $900M a year. UFA Defenseman who would have got a big raise, again with cap troubles. Another UFA defenseman who will probably get Top-4 money, but really is better suited as a #5-#6. And the #4 goalie in our system.

You don't trade Lehkonen if the playoffs are the goal in 2023. I'm kind of shocked so many people on here are missing that, but he was literally the only player on this team that didn't get caved in 5 on 5. Its pretty clear what HuGo are doing here.

Petry needs to blame himself for almost being nominated to Norris last year into being complete dogshit and not wanting to play anymore. If he wanted out he should have been playing 5x more better than what hes doing right now.
