Roy and Sakic have been talking about the importance of making the minor league team competitive, and letting their prospects grow together down there since day 1. EV was more of a Roy guy than a MacFarland guy also.
The most obvious contributions with MacFarland's name on them are Bednar, Bodnarchuk, Goloubef, and Tyutin, and they're nothing to write home about. Even if he's responsible for some of the other decisions, there haven't really been any good ones since he took over.
I wonder why no teams are interested in pure rentals like Iggy or Mitchell? Maybe Sakic wants too much for them? I hope neither Iginla, Tyutin, Bourque, Mitchell stays on this team past deadline.
Well today is the day of no productivity. Sorry employer.
How many picks do we have in the upcoming draft right now, 6? We better come out of today with at least 8.
They have scouts that personally witnessed our disaster on ice
We have seven, actually. No third, Rangers' fourth.

Hey Avs fans, Bruins fan coming in peace here. I know there has been much talk about Duchene and Landeskog, wondering if there is a chance both could be traded to the same team? If so for example from the Bruins what would you want in return, keep in mind some salary would have to go back. Thanks, happy TDL day to all. FWIW I know this has been a tough year for you guys, but your team has a lot of great young players in the pipeline and will get a couple great players in the draft, I have no doubt the Avs will be a top team again sooner rather than later.
Cheers.

The answer is we'd have to have a compelling reason to tie them together and I don't see that. I don't think Landy is going anywhere anyway.
So that's out...
