Well I'm convinced the whole Avs front office is on vacation right now, so I don't expect anything to happen.

It's really getting to me. I see all these other teams making rental trades and getting picks and prospects that I'd just love to have. While we sit here with a bunch of garbage and can't even make a Tytuin for a 5th trade? It's just really depressing. I'm about to leave service for most of the day so I hope I come back to 4 or 5 moves. But we all know that won't happen at this point.

They, at the very least, better trade Iginla to a team with playoff aspirations. Give the man a chance.

Joe Sakic has no reason to have as much as a quick conversation with Mcphee today. The Avs have nothing of value to be scared about in expansion. Today needs to be about the rentals and hopefully blowing somebody away in a Matt Duchene trade.
Then hopefully later this afternoon we'll also hear some news on some prospect signings and some kids being called up from SA.
