Puig was claimed off trade waivers so unless it was by the Jays(unlikely, we'd have one of the lowest priorty) then we literally can't trade for him.

I'm pretty sure you're able to bring someone up in emergency circumstances (paternity leave/bereavement lists?) regardless of the 10 day rule.
