My take on the top 20 prospects in the Blue Jays system:

1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (3B)
2. Richard Urena (SS)
3. Sean Reid-Foley (RHP)
4. Rowdy Tellez (1B)
5. Jon Harris (RHP)
6. TJ Zeuch (RHP)
7. Bo Bichette (SS)
8. Conner Greene (RHP)
9. Justin Maese (RHP)
10. Anthony Alford (OF)
11. Harold Ramirez (OF)
12. Max Pentecost (C)
13. Angel Perdomo (LHP)
14. Reese McGuire (C)
15. JB Woodman (OF)
16. Francisco Rios (RHP)
17. Clinton Hollon (RHP)
18. Joshua Palacios (OF)
19. Jose Espada (RHP)
20. Ryan Borucki (LHP)

nice list.

i've got two big differences - alford way higher and harris way lower.

what's nice though is that with all the 2015 and 2016 draftees doing well in short season ball suddenly i'm looking at a legit 25-deep prospect list again when at the start of the year 15 was a stretch.

my list:

1. Urena
2. Reid-Foley
3. Alford
4. Tellez
5. Guerrero

6. Maese
7. McGuire
8. Ramirez
9. Greene
10. Bichette

11. Zeuch
12. Pentecost
13. Jansen
14. Rios
15. Harris

16. Perdomo
17. Borucki
18. J.Palacios
19. Y.Rodriguez
20. G.Encina

21. J.Woodman
22. C.Young
23. C.Biggio
24. R.Gold
25. Z.Jackson

*Britton is great. The rest of the pen has been very shaky the last couple weeks and the rotation is a tire fire.

I still wouldn't feel comfortable being down going into the 7th inning against Baltimore, knowing Brach, O'Day, and Britton would be coming.

Man, the potential starters in the Jays/O's series should be bigtime in favour of Toronto.

Does Navarro catch Estrada tomorrow?

I expect that he will but I would have Martin catch.

Martin hasn't caught in 2 games now tomorrow would be a 3rd. I'd like to get Bautista back to the DH spot.

I'm at peace with the outcome of the Sox-Royals game.

If the Sox lose, we go up 2 games.

If the Sox win, we get more separation between us and the Royals, a wildcard contender (one of many).

The next month will see league rivals beating up on each other. We can take care of our destiny by winning our own games, and the chips fall where they may, elsewhere.

Some really interesting stuff going on in the AL in the last few weeks, including today (and tonight in Boston).

Can't quite remember a season where every contending AL team has gone through so many hot and cold streaks all in one year. And not only that, but it's just weird how this season has played out so far.

Pretty curious that the three contenders in the AL East all have explosive offenses and mediocre bullpens. Thank god the Jays picked up Grilli and Benoit.

Boston's BP just imploded again.

KC blowing the game open right now. 8-4 after scoring 6 runs so far this inning.

Edit: Make it 10-4

Has any team ever batted around twice in an inning before? Because the Royals might do it this inning, lol.

The Royals are going to make the playoffs.

Before play today, the Royals had a 5% chance of making the playoffs. The NYY have a 7.1% chance. The Blue Jays 89% to make the playoffs, 48% to win the division. The Red Sox were just a few % puts behind.
