Respected... that's a stretch. He sure is a veteran though.
Very respected … anyways why would HuGo want to completely devalue their asset when form the sounds of it there’s a deal to be had this summer

Seravalli in his podcast said that he believes Habs will either retain on Allen or Savard or end up being a third party broker.

He mentions that while Avs are looking at different options for goaltending, he said that he thinks Allen would be their best option. And that his poor numbers could be because he's playing on a bad team. And that with the Avs, he could be that .905 goalie again.
We know the poor numbers are Jake’s fault. Some games he’s absolutely horrendous and has nothing to do with the coverage in front of him.

Ya they went for the cheap option cause it's Holland...and they gave up their 1st already.
He probably went for him cause he played well against them like 2 years ago. But judging a player using small sample size is very dangerous. He can be okay 3rd pairing depth for a team having a strong defense but he's not a solution to their "problem".

Other teams might not know that though. We knew we were not losing much in Petry but we still got Matheson and a 4th round pick in the first trade and then a 2nd round pick and 3rd round pick to get him back and then another 4th round pick to trade him away

So far for Petry retained, Hoffman and Poehling we got

Matheson
4th round pick (Dogdan)
2nd round pick
3rd round pick
4th round pick
Pearson

We all knew he was over the hill. GM are often slow to wake up when players start to slow down. That's a hell of a return for a bunch of scrap even though Poehling could still become a decent bottom 6 player.

Matheson is the Jake Gardiner of Shayne Gostisbeheres.

Hopefully Guentzel gets traded sooner than later.

Could be holding up some teams that are in on him.
