Knies trade has to be for one of the following:

YOUNG #1 D only
only Harley comes close to that, and would be a fine pickup and make a solid top pairing.

Werenski is too old, and likely goes back to being injury prone if we get him, and cannot even sign him to an extension for a year, so, flight risk

Helly is in his mid 30's with a big cap hit, and always folds under playoff pressure.

Chayka was smart to jump in early and go after Raddysh. I suspect there was a bidding war for the sign and trade and that drove up the price from a 5th to a 3rd.
