One of them has a $7m contract that will land a pretty massive haul. The other is a "questionable qualifier" at $4.5m???

I wonder if Maccelli would be open to negotiating a short extension below his qualifying offer.

He's probably a good undervalued 'buy low' option, especially now that Berube is gone.

Robertson is probably 100% gone - so there's potentially less competition for a smaller forward in the lineup

Meh, a lot of those points were picked up in garbage time. McTavish was playing for a playoff bound team. Maccelli is a very underwhelming little guy. If you're aspiring to be a good team, a playoff team, Maccelli is not in your lineup.
