You mean a Hutchinson?
Someone a little bit better today with a bit more upside. Like a Logan Thompson type.
You mean a Hutchinson?
You would think eventually Toronto will be able to draft another goaltender.
Been how many drafts since Rask?
You mean a Hutchinson?
Heck you might as well be describing Kallgren.
If Kallgren is a viable option, why is the org deferring to Hutch/Woll right now?
I know, you just can’t blame their goalie develop team since a Zamboni driver/practice goalie for the Leafs got more NHL win than any of the Leafs drafted Goalie for the past few years. They clearly can't draft goalies. Might as well invest in some good zamboni drivers.
He has only played 6 games in this organization and has very limited NA exposure. The other two have been here for multiple years and have played in NA their entire lives.

I'd love someone who can help us right now while Mrazek is unavailable.

Wonder if Vegas would be interested in something around Ritchie/Engvall + Holl + picks/prospects for Smith + Whitecloud
Adds a veteran to their bottom pair beside Hague, Smith is a free agent and they get to recuperate some futures that they lost from the Eichel trade.
I think Smith would be a good winger to put beside Matthews, you can either move Bunting down in the lineup - where he should be, or move Nylander to his own line. You can try Whitecloud beside Muzzin on the 2nd pairing. If that doesn’t work, he’ll be the 7th D & Dermott will fill in.
Whitecloud was just extended for 6 years. I doubt they are moving him.
well to be fair in Vegas that’s the kids of death for a Player
Kids of Death is a great band name.
I don't hate it but what would the cost be?I've mentioned this before, but I think Alex Nylander is a good "reclamation project" candidate.
He had 10 goals in 65 games 2 years ago. He is also a LWer. He was injured last year and is currently rotting in the AHL. I'm sure we can get him at a low cost. I know that there's defensive issues with him, but I think there's probably a confidence issue too, which impacts his play. How much would playing with his brother help? We've seen Willy's calm, reassuring approach to other players (e.g. Ritchie) that would probably help with his bro too. Also, Alex and Willy probably know each other's playing style and tendencies so well that they will have instant chemistry on the ice. Also, don't the Nylanders live in Mississauga? Maybe Alex is just one of those guys who wasn't prepared to leave home so early and needs more security in his life. He's also only making $800,00o-ish. I dunno. Just seems like a good option.
I will sign up for your rescue Alex cause but I don't think he qualifies as a reclamation project. They'll want a very good prospect back in return. Hawks are still high on him. He tore his knee last year and missed the entire season that's why he's in shambles right now. He's not really rotting in the AHL, he just needs more seasoning due to the delayed development and severe injury. He doesn't need to clear waivers either so it was an easy decision to send him down.I've mentioned this before, but I think Alex Nylander is a good "reclamation project" candidate.

That was a babcock coached team, his second last game in charge and they definitely had tuned him out by thenRE: Woll
Marlies haven't been that good for the last while, so may explain the underwhelming numbers. Hutchinson is bad anyway so may as well see where Woll is at in his development while the team should have enough pride to show up in front of him. I do remember the team completely mailing it in and Kaskisuo getting destroyed though so this should be interesting.
Oh okay. I didn't know how the Hawks felt about him. I will still kick tires though.I will sign up for your rescue Alex cause but I don't think he qualifies as a reclamation project. Good question. Probably a decent prospect or maybe a Mikheyev? I wouldn't go higher than that though. He's still unproven, but we may provide a good environment for him to succeed.I don't hate it but what would the cost be?
I'd be interested in having Nylander on the Marlies going through the same process as Ho-Sang.
Lmao. The Islanders are not trading Scott Mayfield.Scott Mayfield would be a great addition
