The hardest part is the symptoms never go away and even minor bumps become issues. My 2.5 year old daughter has accidently put me in a world of hurt more than once just by playing and bumping my head too hard.

I wouldn't move Knies/Niemela/firsts personally for anything unless we ripping a team off.

I'd be alright sending a 1st for Gio if a pick is attached with him. If a 1st is what they want then work with them.

1st + Dermott for Giordano, 3rd + Lauzon

Going from late 1st to early 3rd isn't so bad for a GM like Dubas, he seems to have done very well drafting in that late 2nd to early 3rd range.

Am I crazy for wanting a major shake-up? I'm talking a deal based around Nylander for JT Miller level shake-up. I just don't see this group having anything more than a first round exit with this core. It's a hill KD shouldn't be willing to die on.

That’s the most I’d do.

We still have to get a Motte type player, an upgrade on the wing, and a goalie. This might not be our year. Too much work to be done and I don’t think Dubas is our guy. Starting to think Shanahan might not be either.

They won’t trade McCann. He just signed a 5 year extension a few days ago.

I think it’s needed to be honest but it’s probably something that will happen in the off-season. I’d be more interested in a deal with Philly when it comes to Nylander. Konecny and Provorov would interest me. Maybe something like Nylander and Holl for Provorov, Konecny and a 4th.

It is not to accrue cap space. It is to open it up, and if Kase is hurt, the Leafs still need 12 forwards on their roster for now.

Yeah, I had a really bad concussion in summer 2019, and I’m still dealing with issues.
