I really think Sandin and Liljegren should be kept. I'd target soucy and manson.
Toronto
Soucy 2.75 million
Seattle
2022 2nd
Rubins
Toronto
Manson 4.1 million
Anaheim
1st 2023 (Top 15 Protected)
Dermott 1.5 million
With Muzzins Ltir at 5.6 and dermott out at 1.5 leafs would have 7.1 million in space. Soucy and Manson would equal 6.875 million in. The leafs blue line would be big nasty and really well balanced with injury depth as well.
manson isnt being traded to canada ... its been mentioned a couple dozen times already. He put all those teams in his no trade list.
people need to spot making trades involving manson...
why would seattle accept that trade ? its garbage for them

This doesn't mean he won't come to Canada. He has a 12 team no trade list so has to fill it up with something right?manson isnt being traded to canada ... its been mentioned a couple dozen times already. He put all those teams in his no trade list.

because a small d-man is what we need? we have plenty of those already, and only one NylanderI don't see Nashville wanting a package of futures. I think it's a deal that helps both teams.

Absolutely is.
Not really.
lotsa lotsa targets available this year.
buyer's market.
Isn't it always a Sellers Market? Is that the consensus? I seem to recall a handful of guys available - three at the top end of the market two of which are 'maybe's (Miller, Lindholm), plus a scattering of depth players as you'd typically see. I could be wrong but definitely just seems like a normal TDL.
Not sure if this is the right thread, but with the situation in Russia/Ukraine... and the ruble crumbling. Are we going to see a KHL exodus this summer?

Don't think Russian born players will have an easy time getting North American visas - but we will see what happens in the next 6 months...
It's definitely a buyer's market.
The East is already set with its playoff teams. Usually, the deadline has a few borderline teams, but this season it's either you're in or you're way out. The divide will only increase as the deadline gets closer.
All of this has created a unique situation where lots of teams are selling pieces.
Didn’t he just sign a 5 year contract? Doubt he’ll be moved.Scott Laughton would be a better pickup than Crouse.
Seems like there are many teams that have a shot to go far and few high end players available. Not when you have this many players rumored available and so few actual contending teams with any cap space to make moves.
