Perhaps to learn something, and have enough info to make an educated statement on them.
Yeah I'll pass on the bottom pair dman on the worst team in the league.

Crazy to think a defenceman can have bad analytics playing on a team as offensively challenged as Arizona. We've never seen this before![]()
I think it's important to say you don't know anything when you don't. For the draft or our prospects, outside of video or some write ups from people I like/trust, I don't have first hand knowledge so I need to ask for it.
In terms of Lybushkin, he's a "good" bottom 4 type guy that I could absolutely see benefiting from a change of scenery. I've only seen like 6 Coyote games this year though so grain of salt![]()
You've watched 6 Arizona games this year? Voluntarily? What are you, some sort of a sicko?

what about Crouse?I think it's important to say you don't know anything when you don't. For the draft or our prospects, outside of video or some write ups from people I like/trust, I don't have first hand knowledge so I need to ask for it.

I don't think anyone on the farm gets it done.According to Sportsnet, Jakob Chychrun’s name is out there again. I’d sell the farm to add him to the blueline.

I don't think that would be enough to entice them.If true that Chychrun is in fact available, then you do whatever it takes to get him.
To Toronto-
Chychrun
To Arizona-
Robertson/Amirov
Holl
Engvall
1st Round Pick
Would make sense to open up a LHD spot on the lineup. As much as I hate it, it would have to be Sandin. Just no space to play Sandin unless they plan on sitting Muzzin.I don't think that would be enough to entice them.
Sure a nice prospect and a 1st are good, rest are spare parts.
I would think one of Sandin or Lilligren would have to be included.
Really? This is 'whatever it takes'?If true that Chychrun is in fact available, then you do whatever it takes to get him.

I agree. Those would be the most ideal defensive pairings heading into the playoffs. Just not sure who would be a good fit to play along side Rielly.Muzzin needs a rest or something. I hope he's saving himself for POs - but currently he doesn't seem responsible.
If he can find his game enough to be respectable on the back end.... it makes our "needs" a whole lot easier.
Being honest:
Rielly - Minute munching Rock.
Sandin - Brodie
Muzzin - Liljgren
Would be a beast backend going into the playoffs
Brodie with Rielly is fine...but the trickledown effect would be lights out on this team.

I just don't see the need for another LD right now or the future.
What player has returned a package even close to that in recent times? That is crazy value. I would much rather not add another LD, leafs can't afford a like 6 million dollar Muzzin on the 3rd pairing. It would have to be something like.
Holl
Ritchie
Sandin
2022 1st
2023 1st
for Chychrun, Lyubushkin ( both at 50%) and Crouse.
Very costly, but it would fit in the cap...
You'd have
Rielly Brodie
Chychrun Lilly
Muzzin Dermott
Lyubushkin
Still think Mayfield is the answer. Trade for him and run a strong d core for the playoffs. In the offseason move Muzzin for picks and free up some cap space, and move sandin beside Mayfield.
