Is there another player in the league who's this good defensively and this much of a black hole offensively?
That does not matter. I say get the lead and play R.Nash the rest of the game. lol

Yes exactly well done.
Oh, I like the move. I was legit asking if theres another player who's that good defensively, as far as metrics go, and provides almost zero offense. I don't ask much from 4th liners, just that they can PK and defend, which he does. That does not matter. I say get the lead and play R.Nash the rest of the game. lol
How does he take away goals from the opposition that were already scored?
Nash is a very solid depth piece to add for the playoffs, and this move allows us the cap flexibility to still add the equivalent in player salary before the trade deadline.
Love the ingenuity of our front office.
i get what you are saying, but those types of people dont typically tend to be finely tuned athletes for the majority of their lives. the dude clearly just let himself go.There are four hundred pound people who literally drink a few glasses of water a day, and eat maybe some lettuce and tomatoes, no salad dressing and stay obese.
Then there are people like my wife who can eat more than a football team and stay in perfect, fitness model shape.
she loves to eat sure, but she doesn't show off. But she could eat two large pizza's by herself, and you could say, doesn't look one ounce heavier, still a perfectly flat stomach
Hormones, bisphenol A i plastic, etc... Its pandora's box. If people knew how to govern their hormones, well they would not believe a word about cancer, aids or covid.
So the lid is still on the box.
well the blues are up 8-1 over the wild, not tonight i guess lolIncoming David Perron blockbuster
Come on St.Louis, tank! You know you want too
SMH
meaningless deal
Not really, he's on LTIR, doesn't count towards the cap. We can add other players, post-season starts we can activate Nash and basically we have a roster that's above the cap limit. Similar to what Chicago did with Kane or Tampa Bay.
This won't be Dubas' last move, I like it. He's a good 3c, good PKer, I hated him in Boston which is probably a good thing now that he plays here.

Why?Leafs can't take Foligno @ 50% retention. Freddy still likely needs to come off LTIR before the playoffs start and we don't have space for both Freddy and Foligno.
Freddy is on long term. Lebrun tweeted it.we have him for the playoffs. That’s it. No extra cap space. Unless Freddy goes on long term.

Why?
Why?You're missing the point. If Andersen is staying on LTIR (he isn't) or being traded, then we don't need CBJ to retain anything on Foligno. If Andersen is coming off LTIR during regular season (he is), then we can't fit Foligno in the cap at half retention.
Definitely sire. And this now means also that we are getting a sucka like hall etc ullmark even cause they are tampering with the IR and LIR sets no sire? Just confirming this here.Recent ice time shows he's a 4th liner now.
Still a playoff player though. We need that.
Because you said so?Why does Freddy have to come off LTIR before the playoffs? Because he's not injured for the rest of the season.
