Not that I think this conversation doesn’t have merit, but if we’re going to start to actually discuss safety shouldn’t out right banning on ice fighting be the clear choice to start? No matter where you land on TW43, we must all admit it’s a bit absurdist to be like “some fighting is okay... but some is dangerous”. The window of interpretation is so wide that you inevitably will have guys who maybe read situations differently than others.

It’s silly that our barometer for a “good” fight that’s safe and a “bad” one is basically the supreme court’s rationale for what porn is. “I can’t define it, but I know it when I see it”. No wonder these things are so polarizing when the whole thing is left to art house interpretation
