hair pull really. Cause that is what this is sounding like. Maybe he hit him with his purse.
I didn't see the purse, but in the video it looks like he might've pulled Panarin's hair as he slammed him to the ice.

the NHL player safety is a f***ing joke. Panarin was this close to having his career potentially ended ala Trevor Moore and Wilson will probably get 1 or 2 games. Wilson should be suspended for the playoffs and half of next season at minimum.

Wilson could literally almost kill a guy and people like Eroscaps or whatever would call us all p***yes cause he didn't actually kill anyone, and then say no other player would even get a penalty for it.
It's called uneducated fans.
The guy knows he won't have to answer the bell in today's NHL.
It's shocking that someone hasn't pulled this dick heads legs out when he is flying toward the wall.

A guy who is pinned to the ice, head on the ice, and gets punched in the back of the head is f***ing gross, vicious punch or not. Shits f***ing dangerous and has no place in the game. Two guys throwing fists sure? Guy down defenseless on the ice getting punched in the back of the head? Don't care who is doing it to who, thats f***ed.

Looking forward to Panarin being suspended for jumping on Tom Wilson's back and then punching him in the head from behind while Wilson was restrained.

Honestly the bodyslam on Panarin looks like the worst part. Slamming a helmetless player to the ice with what looks like might've been a hair pull.
Looks horrible but at least one could say hey it was a face to face fight.
What he did to Buchnevich is a coward's work! f***ing disgusting and akin to sucker punching someone on the side of the head

I get that it's HFBoards but I wouldn't put it that way if I hadn't. I've hit friends harder than that. That's, like, not even as hard as the "open fist" punching we'd do as knuckleheads in high school to beat each other up without breaking any ribs. In fact, since I'm mentioning it, I'd be pretty surprised if he hit him with a closed fist too, not that it matters much with hockey gloves on.
Have you hit them in the face while they were facing the ground. Because if you are doing that please stop you can seriously hurt them. If not it is completely different. And if he hit a player standing up no one would be complaining. Doing anyone on the ground is unacceptable.

To me it looked like a little jab in the shoulder blade area. The slam looked like he intentionally tried to drive his head into the ice which can kill someone.

Quoted for relevance. He tagged Buch in the cheek/jaw pretty good. His head wouldn't move like that from being hit in the nameplate

Kick this dumb, asshole motherf***er out of the league. He does not get it. At this point, it’s clear he never will. You don’t pull a guys hair to slam his head on the ice and reform from that kind of behavior, especially if you’re already supposedly “reformed”. NHL better show some balls since this injured one of their superstar players.

I’ve said it a thousand times, what’s one more? f*** Tom Wilson. Scumbag.
