I don’t get what you’re saying here.

The replay shows Wilson pulled Panarin’s hair. Why is this “convenient” for people who don’t like Tom Wilson? It’s literally just showing what happened and what you couldn’t see in real time. Like...should it not count as a bitch play because it took a replay to show what he actually did?

I mean, if you watch in real time Wilson is throwing him down and his hand is around the back of his head, his helmet falls off (then the replay starts) and Panarin goes to the ground. The replay (and commentary in this thread) make it seem like Panarin never even had a helmet and Wilson just grabbed him by the hair and threw him down.

The simple question is, would Caps fans be ok if someone like Gudas did that to Backstrom?

I would think the easy answer is no.

And the reverse is would Caps fans demand Gudas be banned from the NHL, and prosecuted. The answer is no.
