I dunno man, it’s pretty damning.

Bit dismissive to lean on the ‘it’s a dive’ button When you can clearly see the tip of the stick hook in there. Even a little poke in the eyes is panic inducing.

I hadn't even seen that view. Center bar of cat eye fully visible in front of and in contrast to Tkachuk's blade:

Pretty tough to prove he did that intentionally. If they could it should easily be a 10 game suspension for deliberate attempt to injure.

Realistically, it was a careless movement of his stick that will cost him a game.

24k posts and only 7k likes. You're a troll. Not even a good one

I'll put a stick in your eye and I'll watch you just laugh right? Cause you're a tough guy ...

It is kinda mind blowing how many people here trying to defend this and claim quick sold the job. Dudes eye was jacked. But hey, he was just selling it? Wtf folks?!?

There weren’t likes way back when on this forum

Once again, Tkachuk was wrong and made a bad move, Quick sold it to the refs. And life moves on.
Whether Quick "Sold it" to the refs or not that was a disgusting act by Tkachuk. You don't jam your stick into a goalies mask intentionally like that for any reason other than attempting to cause injury. The number of players we've seen have their careers ended and their quality of life ruined because of eye injuries and you're going to attempt to downplay what he did?

Here is the first contact with Quick that hasn't been posted yet. You can't tell me the second time wasn't intentional with this clowns history

Nah, Quick poked himself in the eye and called the trainer out. Obv.

Disagree, you don’t roll your wrists to point your stick on accident.

Honestly if he would have clunked Quick in the mask with the heel Of his stick it would be douchey but just a ‘normal’ intentional high stick and we’d talk some shit and move on but pointing your toe towards ANY player’s face isn’t meant to just annoy. That’s some Youngblood shit.

Short of a hot mic on the bench that catches Tkachuk saying to a teammate, "I knowingly and intentionally stuck my stick blade into Quick's eye because f*** him," how would one ever prove he did it "intentionally"? (I think it's fair to say that's why proving intent isn't the bar.)

Quick, the floppiest flopping flopper of all time, flops his way to a disallowed goal and flops an innocent player into a DOPS call.

What a piece of shit human Floppy Flopping Quick is

There would be no discussion about this insignificant event of a stick hitting a cage if Quick didn’t flop his ass off. Most players would brush this aside. The theatrics will come back to bite Quick next time Tkachuk sees him.

What are you even talking about? Quick didn’t go down until Tkachuk’s stick got him in the eye well after the whistle. He took a stick blade to the eyeball, this wasn’t some performance.

How can one tell it was intentional

Watch this video, a minute before he does it again. The video you’ve seen is him doing it a second time within a minute. Stop being a clown.

I have seen some really really shameless, embarrassing takes over the years here

This might be the best of them all

We are like 1 degree away from the DOPS should suspend Quick for trying to impale his own eye on Chucky’s blade, causing stick tape saturation from eye fluid

Flames fans were always able to at least acknowledge his acts…this is some next level delusion.
