I wouldn’t doubt that given it’s Marchand. Just my opinion though.

A guy at that level, who has played for as long as he has in as many situations as he has, knows when something he is doing on the ice could result in a reckless play.

Disagree with point 1. There is video evidence he purposely put his stick in Liljegren's skates as they are going into the end boards/corner. Watch the replay, it is clear as day the intent. And I think he did it to injure him. Very few players I'd claim that about, but Marchand's history is clear. He tries to injure players. I suppose when the goal is to win at all costs, some people would want a player who attempts to injure. And would defend said player. But where do you draw the line? Is Gillooly too far? It wasn't like they were trying to end Kerrigan's career, just give a hand up for a friend. Where Gillooly failed Marchand succeeded. This wasn't an accident, it was intentional, that's just who Marchand is.

I just watched the replay. You are right. I didn’t notice the stick go in first before he stuck his leg out. 100 percent intentional and dirty. Typical Ratchand

He's trying to gain leverage by INTENTIONALLY putting his stick between the leg's, do you honestly think a guy as skilled as Marchand and with his history of dirt dirty plays he accidentally put his stick there? Almost anyone else on the B's deserves the shadow of a doubt, not Brad.
