I think that most people AT THE TIME thought it was a puck battle and not much else, an accidental trip. I think in hindsight, that is not the case, but at the time I am assuming most players thought that.

I also don't think Perry deserved a beating for accidentally injuring Tavares.

After clean open ice hits what does every team but Toronto do? Even if at the time you think that was a clean hit. 1) It's Marchand he has not laid a clean hit in 30 years 2) Our guy was clearly concussed, the guy couldn't stand up without falling over, that does not raise the eyebrows a little? 3) Marchand

I think he trying to gain leverage and his stick got tangled in his feet. The guy plays hard, stuff happens, but Marchand‘s actions are not the problem in this scenario.

He’s not an angel. He’s a very competitive NHL player, the exact type of player the Leafs need.

He's not competitive, he's dirty, dirty is the stage after competitive. He's trying to gain leverage by INTENTIONALLY putting his stick between the leg's, do you honestly think a guy as skilled as Marchand and with his history of dirt dirty plays he accidentally put his stick there? Almost anyone else on the B's deserves the shadow of a doubt, not Brad. You don't get the benefit of being presumed innocent when you constantly do the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I posted SEVEN pics of brad slew footing .. SEVEN .. if you catch your wife cheating on you 7 times and then you catch her with her pants down at a "friends" house...does she get the benefit of the doubt?

This is the first logical post that might make sense but if Marchand disappears you just take the next guy they put on the ice. Hey Pasta, I'm going to kick the shit out of you now, nothing personal but you got Ratchand to thank for this ass whooping... dont care who bleeds on the B's but there better be some blood, bruises and tears coming from their locker room.

Ratchand wont care if you fight him, he's hoping for that so he can turtle and fustrate you more, what you do is make it clear any shit Marchand does, Pasta will get it back 2X.

It's sad that they don't care about each other. I can't honestly say i've witnessed this level of turn the other cheek before, anywhere, and certainly not from members of the jock crowd. Usually everyone has a limit of how much shit they will eat, but not these guys.

Marchand does a lot of dirty shit but I honestly don’t think that was a slewfoot. Just two guys battling for a puck with their skates getting tangled up.

That said, the lack of response is still unacceptable and sickening. Especially from the one guy whose only useful purpose is to handle these situations.

At this point it'd be shocking to see someone actually care and do something about it.

I don't think Marchand would entertain anyone except Rielly or Gio, though.
