And the one game Ullmark played Boston won. Like I said earlier the Bruins don't get up for teams like Ottawa, every team is playing Boston like it's game 7 of the SCF. In the playoffs motivation is equal on both sides, Boston will absolutely steamroller Ottawa, only the diehard Sens fans will think they have a chance.
Just like 2017

Team is looking great and working hard to account for a rough start. Wish Norris was healthy, tough injury to overcome but here we are.

I don't think anyone is seriously thinking Ottawa has any decent odds of choking out Boston.

The point is Ottawa is doing very very well, compared to where they were in previous seasons. More importantly Chycrum has made this roster complete. Guy has a goal and an assist in his first game in Ottawa. He played very well, team had solid defensive coverage all game. Almost got his 3rd point on a crossbar. This team is way better than some might thing.

This year's playoffs really don't matter either way, either they fail to get in, or they have a 4 game post season it doesn't matter. The point is with Chycrum added the rebuild is clearly over, can you say that about any other recent rebuild? When every other team is aging out of contender status, that's a pretty bright future. They're clearly a better team than the Wings post deadline, and more complete than Buffalo.

Honestly with this level of chest thumping, I genuinely hope the bruins re-enact 2019 Tampa. The arrogance is coming off a bit too strong

I didn't follow that series, but Ottawa now has a complete set of tools. They're playing better than any team in the west not named Colorado. If you assume luck is a factor, they certainly have enough people who could snipe in a few pucks. All you need is a few of these to get lucky

Says something, gets fact checked hard, makes up something else up to save face. Ah, the HFBoards classic.

Whether or not they get into the playoffs or win a game if they do, I really like this young team and the progress they made this year. Heck they are going to have 6 20 goal scorers with half of them hitting 30+. Norris would have made that 7. Giroux and DeBrincat were great adds. Chychrun is really good and just vastly improved their blueline. My team has won two of the last three Stanley cups and has gone to three straight finals and I still watch Ottawa every chance I get.

Who cares? They've been amazing over the past month, Buffalo just lost to Columbus chasing the WC2. People are so weird on this site hating on teams who've been bad for the past decade.

That's a little misleading because CBJ just recently traded away a lot of their good players.

Since CBJ beat Buffalo on Feb. 28th:

CBJ trades away:
Nyquist
Korpisalo
Gavrikov
Voracek
Quick

This is a team that traded away almost all of their producing players recently. So it's not really that impressive, especially not thread worthy.
