Tony D is a hot head. I am sure he wasn't happy about it and let Quinn know.

Quinn is an idiot for scratching him. He's been one of the best defenseman all season. Pionk is trash, Staal is garbage, as is Smith, Shattenkirk as well.
I don't buy it.

Quinn is a moron.

If he did something wrong off the ice, then so be it

Quinn runs a tight ship

Lias being scratched is also lame. Although to be fair he’s done nothing to justify his spot on the team.

Yes, he's an idiot for scratching him for a reason that you have no insight into or knowledge of.

Messier , Gretzky , Lowe, Anderson, Graves, Beukeboom, Kurri, Tikkanen, Mctavish, and Todd Marchant with the alley oop shutout. For both teams
I like how you threw Marchant in there. Better than Ryan Smyth

Ugh. Stupid coach holding players accountable again. Getting real tired of this proper environment crap.

Holding player accountable and scratching your best defensemen in the lineup this season, at worst, 2nd best defenseman, is a conundrum.

If Quinn actually held players accountable Pionk would almost never play. If its an off the ice issue with Deangelo like it seems then this time its fine

Did anyone else catch what Maloney just said on the pre-game? He was talking about the development of Zibanejad as leader. One of the things that took place is that Zibanejad and Kreider met with each other over the summer when they were both playing in the Worlds, and his words, ‘began to plot how they would impact the young roster as leaders’. I think some people are really downplaying the value of both players moving forward as leaders on a young developing team.

I’d like to know what the “small thing” is..

Until I know more I’ll trust Quinn’s judgement because I don’t have another choice

Interesting. I saw Maloney but wasn't really paying attention.

I can't get too bent out of shape over the Tony D scratch. I trust Quinn.

Quinn has been extremely clear with 1 thing all season... he doesn’t care about performance results as long as you try hard and fall in line
If thats pionk playing hard I dont wanna see him when hes lazy...
They call that “what-about-ism” in politics.

Ie:
Party X does something bad.

They scream what about when party Y did a bad thing
what-about-ism is when a completly different topic is brought up. In this situation its 2 dmen who have been treated completly differently for questionable reasons
