I had such a weird dream last night. We scored a top 3 pick, Kathryn Tappen wore these pants that looked painted on, and Jerome Bettis was a color commentator on a bowling broadcast.

I think the hockey gods appreciated that we tried out there, put in an honest day's effort. The gods were also pleased with Gorton writing love letters to the fans.
I have no idea how this lottery sorcery works. How did Strome's OT winner give us the edge for a #2 pick? lol

I don't think it had anything to do with it. People just rationalize connections with what happened with the lottery balls. But basically people are rationalizing that had we tanked further and moved up to 4th or 5th instead of 6th, where Detroit and Buffalo were in the standings, we wouldn't have landed the 2OA. We'd be picking 6th or 7th, where Detroit and Buffalo are now after the lottery.

Ugh don't mention Pettersson. That's the only thing that can bring me down right now... Imagine if we had him instead of Andersson.
But I Digress. Kravstov is going to be awesome. Guy had 21 in 50 on one of the WORST KHL Teams offensively. Add that in with Kakko... f*** man this team gunna be good.
I still wonder now if you trade Kreider or if you keep him. I also wonder if this makes signing Panarin a good idea -- I am leaning towards Yes

Late to the party been a fan since early 70's, cried when Middleton, Ratelle and Park was traded, also Eddie, gone through some dark age times, seen 1 Stanley cup, many years of hurt, but yesterday was beautiful, finally a home grown star (beside Hank and Leetch) that we can say its ours, life is good to be Rangers fan LGR !!!

To be fair you still need to lose a lot to get this to happen. Let's not forget we traded two of our top 6 forwards and lost a ton after the deadline. If edmonton loses to calgary we would be pissed about the extra point we got. And they would pick 2 LOL.

Hughes will need to max out his insane skills because physically he doesn't look like much right now.
No reason to get Karlsson with DeAngelo and most likely Fox coming. We need a legit defensive dman on the right side a trouba or myers

Not really. Passing up on Karlsson to sign Myers would be really dumb. I'd take Karlsson at 20M per compared to signing Myers long-term. Trouba, who knows if he even gets moved.
