I get it's a good thing. I'm not saying to change it. BUT I'm an Oiler fan and we had this kid who was very similar. Philip Broberg. And he's a lefty. We'd send him to the minors, then call him up because he was too good down there and play him on his right side. Then send him down again. Repeat. Then the fanbase declared him a bust. It didn't end well for us.lol
But this is a general bitch on prospects everyday on HF. Eg. my fav offensive prospect got called up and was put on line 4 and given 8 minutes. How is he supposed to show how good he is? My fav offensive dman gets called up, gets 8 minutes on bottom pair and sent back down. When should he show his offense?
This isn't as bad but it's hard for a young D to surivive on their good side yet alone their bad one.
Still, it's nice. They are clearly giving him a chance. Hell, maybe my joke is true and they really are showcasing him for a trade before deadline? I didn't think I'd see him again in the NHL this season to be honest so this is gravy.
